I’m incredibly disappointed to see that original.misterpoll.com is no more and has been replaced by this forum. Misterpoll was one of the most easily accessible, straightforward, simple ways to connect with other people through interactions on polls and their attached, individual forums.
This new, single forum here maintains none of these attractive features. More importantly, the arbitrary and vague rules against certain content on this forum (“hate speech”, “offensive content”, “adult content”, etc) means that the majority of active polls and forums on the original Misterpoll won’t be allowed here. I’m extremely sad to see Misterpoll turn into this forum and I have no doubt that this community will fail to attract members and fail to stay alive.
If it is at all possible, is there any hope at all that original.misterpoll.com could be restored in the future? Are all the polls and individual message boards from that site, spanning the length of decades, now lost forever in favor of this generic, unappealing replacement? I really hope not.
The latest update about the future of the old Mister Poll website is from late June, and it’s September already. I know it has been the summer holiday period on the northern hemisphere where most of us will be located, but do you, as admin, have anything new to report beyond the fact that the website is for sale?
Just to check in again, I would also like to ask if there are any new updates that the Admin could share with us about the status of the old Misterpoll website. I presume the the site is still available for sale, but has any effort been made to restore its functionality and make it available for use again? If so, is there a progress update we could have on those efforts? Any updates the Admin could provide would be very appreciated by all of us.
